Are you ready to SPRING into EQUITY?

Human In Common is excited to partner with the Greater Northampton Chamber of Commerce to provide a series of interactive, skill-building trainings to promote diversity, equity & inclusion in our workplaces and community! These trainings are designed to:

  • Increase your empathy and awareness
  • Learn skills to prevent & interrupt bias and harassment
  • Develop policies and practices to operationalize inclusion
  • Build mindful dialogue skills to engage across conflict & difference

We are an innovative team of experienced diversity consultants. We help individuals and organizations create a workplace culture based on respect, appreciation of diversity and inclusion.

“Ethical Upstander Training appeals because it is direct. The scenarios that we did at your workshop showed how individual bias or lack of awareness can lead to decisions that have a harmful impact in the community.”

Fernando Perfas, Assistant Director of Prevention, Bureau of Substance Addiction Services, MA Dept. of Public Health

“As new challenges arose that continued to grip our nation, like the fight for racial justice, we forged a meaningful, new partnership with Human In Common, a best-in-class diversity training consultancy that has been instrumental in helping us advance our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.”

Vince Jackson, Executive Director, Greater Northampton Chamber of Commerce

Thank you to our sponsor, Greenfield Savings Bank!

“We believe that the services that we provide help improve the quality of life of our customers. But we also recognize that our responsibility to be a positive force in our communities goes beyond banking. That is why we are a leader in supporting local non-profits both financially and through the volunteer efforts of our directors and employees. We believe that giving back moves us forward.”

The Downtown Getdown is made possible by a generous grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council.

Mass Cultural Council works to elevate our rich cultural life in Massachusetts. We partner with communities across the Commonwealth to expand access, improve education, promote diversity, and encourage excellence in the arts, humanities, and sciences. Through our efforts, we make our state a better place to live, work, and visit for everyone.
